It is not necessary to be in possession of a specific visa when you own a villa in Bali.

THE VKU VISA (Business Visa)

This visa allows businessmen to stay for 4 to 5 weeks to carry out professional activities. This is often the case for people who already have business relationships with local companies. This is the reason why these people cannot qualify for a tourist visa or a social and cultural visit visa (VKSB).

THE MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA

This type of visa allows the holder to make multiple entries into Indonesia over a period of one year with a duration not exceeding two to four months for each entry depending on the approval that is given by the immigration department.
The application for this type of visa must be made in Jakarta to the immigration service by the sponsor which, generally, is a company.

THE WORK VISA (Working KITAS 312)

This type of visa is valid for six months to one year. It is only issued to experts whose work is necessary for national development and to expatriates engaged in training programs or other scientific or educational programs in accordance with the regulations in force.

THE KITAS LANSIA VISA (Retirement)

This type of visa is valid for one year. It is only issued to people over 55, in good health, who do not intend to pursue a professional activity and who can demonstrate a minimum monthly income of €1,500.

THE VKSB VISA (Social Budaya)

This visa, as its name suggests, allows you to make social and cultural visits or study in Indonesia for a maximum period of six months. The Indonesian Embassy in Paris first issues an initial 60-day visa.

The required formalities are as follows: - present the letter from the 'sponsor' (either an educational establishment, a university, or an Indonesian or foreign person residing in Indonesia) which will preferably be written in Indonesian, this letter will be accompanied by the form visa application form provided by the Embassy.

Once in Indonesia, the 'VKSB' visa is renewable every month at one of the local offices of the immigration service in the district of residence.

This visa can be renewed four times in a row, each time with the same procedure.
